Well first off let me say that I love my husband dearly and I thank God everyday for sending him into my life. He has really made a big difference in my life and not only my life but also my childrens lives too. Well let me tell you alittle about how we met. Well we meet in N.C. in a town called Jacksonville. At the time that we met I was going through a rough period..Let me just say I was separted and things weren't easy for me.
Well you can get the hint...right!!!!
Well then one day I was at work and he came into to SEARS to buy some clothes and I was in the men's dept putting the stock away and he came up too me and asked me a question..Well I ended up helping him pick out a outfit and during that time we started talking and he introduce himself and I did the same..At that time he asked me if I was married and being that I was going through a Divorce I told him I don't consider myself married..Then he asked if I would like to maybe go out for lunch or to the movies sometime and I said sure...To make a long story short we did go out the following weekend but only as friends because of my divorce..
During our those times, he was someone that I could talk too and he never took me for granted! (like some men do!) Well we became really good friends and I really didn't expect anything else than that because of my situation..
Well I do remember the night that he did ask me to marry him. It was a chilly night on Sept 21st, 1999..We decide to go out that night for dinner and then to a movie. To be honest I don't remember the movie..lol..Well things was nice as usual he always made me feel so special when we were together. Well we went out to our favorite place which was Apple Bee's and then on to the movies..Well after we got popcorn and drinks and sat down we just talked about how our day was..Then for some odd reason during the movie he just turned to me and said "WILL YOU MARRY ME"
Well I just laughed and said your joking right and he laughed and said NO!! Well that's when I realized that he was serious and it felt kinda nice but I told him I had to think about it..
It took me 3 long weeks to think about it because of my children and also because my divorce was soon to be finalized..But to make this shorter I did say yes and we did get married and to be honest he has made my life complete and I love him very much..
I would of never came this far if it wasn't for him and I love him very much..
